Step 1: Download one file

If you cannot see a sign above this text, you will have to install a plugin for your browser to run the game. This may sound complicated, but it is not. Download the file, execute it, and thats it. Your browser is upgraded automatically. The plugin is called "Java Webstart" from Sun Microsystems, and you can get it here for Windows and for Linux.

Step 2: Play!

Now you can start the game by clicking this link. Select your language and then the tutorial-mode. The game window and a tutorial window will open and you will learn how to move ships and how to produce new ones.

After you have conquered 10 planets (or more) in singleplayer-mode, you will be given the password you need for joining multiplayer campaigns. You can then close the tutorial, and start the multiplayer-mode (or the advanced singleplayer mode to get more preparation)
