Technical Details

To run the game, you need to install the Java Runtime Plugin (see quickstart). You should have a computer with 128 MB RAM and 300 MHz processor or upwards. And you need internet-access to play in multiplayer mode. Your firewall (if you have one) must be open for Java-RMI-Connections.

Playing

I have discovered a new spaceship in a multiplayer campaign, but I don't know if it is useful!
Some of the spaceships can be discovered and evaluated by playing the singleplayer-mode. But there are some spaceships that exist only in multiplayer-campaigns, and you'll just have to give them a try to see if they suit your needs.

Will spaceship X be successfull attacking a planet that is defended by spaceships Y and Z?
This is always an interesting question - and you can only approximate it by playing the singleplayer-mode, and creating similar battles. You can for example produce ships X, Y and Z, and give ships Y and Z to an independent planet. And then you attack that planet with ship X, and find out!

General Info

What is the state of this game?
At the moment we are in late alpha stage. Historical reasons demand that the game version starts with 3, (IMP301 means version 3.01), but we cannot guarantee for anything. The software is already very stable, but sometimes strange errors may occur. Or we may have to reset the complete system, so that all accounts have to be recreated.

Does it cost money?
No. At the moment, the game is completely free. One day we might change our mind, but even then all players who have been with us will get free lifetime premium-accounts.

Can I help?
Yes, you can! If you want to program a plugin for the game, just contact us. For example, if you want a new table for viewing the list of your spaceships, and you are a skilled Java-Programmer, just download the plugin-API, and get going. (To be released soon)

Can I create my own spaceships? Yes you can. Soon. At the moment, there is no editor available, so you'll have to do it an a normal text editor.
